Meet Hakim, the Head of Talent Acquisition and Talent Skilling for South Europe at Wipro. With a humble heart and a passion for talent development, Hakim brings a rich blend of experience and knowledge to his role. His educational journey includes an MBA from Coventry University and a dual Master's degree in Business Administration and Technology from the universities of Lyon and Coventry, laying a solid foundation for his career.
Hakim's professional path is marked by a series of meaningful roles, starting in the operational and management sectors of the Automotive and Aerospace industries, where he contributed to projects at Peugeot-Citroen, Siemens, Pilkington, and Kautex Unipart. This early experience provided him with a deep understanding of the industry's dynamics and the importance of nurturing talent.
Transitioning into Executive Search, Consultancy, and Career Coaching, Hakim lent his skills to leading consultancy firms such as Nigel Wright and Korn Ferry, and later, founded Imtiaz Consulting. His efforts in these roles were always driven by a desire to support and guide individuals and organizations in realizing their full potential.
Prior to his current position at Wipro, Hakim held key Talent Acquisition leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Lexis Nexis, managing operations across Europe and the CEMEA regions. These experiences enriched his perspective on the global talent landscape.
With a career spanning well over 20 years, Hakim has dedicated himself to the fields of Operations, Executive Consultancy, Career Coaching, Talent Acquisition and Management, Talent Skilling, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI), Employer Branding, and HR Business Partnering. His approach is always characterized by a commitment to learning and adapting, aiming to meet new challenges with resilience and a collaborative spirit.
