With over a decade of experience in HR, I have developed a deep understanding of the impact of creating the best possible conditions for people to contribute, and how to achieve this. I am passionate about making HR smarter, more data-driven, and genuinely value-adding, always with a focus on what truly drives business impact. I have a strong analytical mindset and a genuine curiosity. I thrive on diving into data, exploring new perspectives, and seeking knowledge from diverse sources such as published research, books, and podcasts. This allows me to continuously challenge my own thinking and refine my approach. My ambition is to uncover the best available insights and design solutions that go beyond traditional HR models. For me, it’s not about doing things the way they’ve always been done, but about challenging conventional wisdom and finding methods that deliver real, measurable impact for the business and its long-term goals.

"Too Busy to Think? Designing Brain-Friendly Workdays"

As HR, it is easy to let the inbox and requests from the business set the agenda for the day, jumping between tasks and solving problems as they appear. It is important work, but when every day becomes a reaction to someone else’s need, it often leads to scattered focus. We end up spending our time managing what is visible and urgent, treating the symptoms, with too little time and mental capacity left for the long-term challenges beneath the surface. Many of us have learned time management techniques and how to become more efficient, but what is often missing is the ability to protect our cognitive energy and to be realistic about the limitations of our mental capacity. In this presentation, we will explore why focus work matters, how to design workdays in a brain-friendly way, and how to be intentional about how we invest our cognitive energy.
