Omar is currently acting as Sr. Director and Business Security Officer in the ESI space supporting the Global Payroll space – that’s GlobalView and ADP Celergo – and the Asia-Pacific region from a security and cybersecurity perspective.

In that role, Omar is responsible for partnering with all BUs under his scope to ensure the risks they’re exposed to are managed according to ADP security program. Ensuring ADP’s clients receive and perceive the value of ADP’s security program is also one of the key responsibilities of his team.

Omar joined ADP in 2012 as a Risk Assurance Manager for GlobalView and very rapidly expanded his scope to cover the current Global Payroll space from a risk management perspective. In 2018 was promoted to Business Security Officer for Global Payroll and in 2022 added the APAC region to his scope.

He started his career in Cybersecurity close to 25 years ago, as an Ethical Hacker and since then has played several roles in multiple cybersecurity disciplines like Security Consultancy, Business Continuity, and Risk Management.

Omar holds a master’s degree in business administration from La Salle Business and Engineering School in Barcelona.
