Shane Twomey is a senior Organisation, Change, and Management Consultant with over 30 years of experience in Multi-national, Indigenous, and Public Sector environments. He is experienced in delivering Leadership and Management Development Programmes and facilitating Leadership Teams through major Change and Business Development Cycles. Shane focuses on developing solutions that align people and organizations in order to enable them to maximize their performance. Prior to moving into consultancy, Shane worked in a range of Senior Human Resources roles with numerous blue chip organisations including Maxtor Ireland, where he had a European brief, Siemens, where he was responsible for implementing Strategic HR, and Viridian Power & Energy, where Shane developed a commercial HR Framework. In recent years, Shane held an Interim Role as the Compensation & Benefits Manager for KPMG. His consultancy experience includes Organisation Design and Change Programmes, HR Strategies, Facilitating Senior Management Teams and implementing Performance and Reward structures. A Fellow of the CIPD, Shane holds an MBS (HR) from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. Shane is a Registered Coach with Henley Management School. In addition, he is a Certified Management Consultant with the IMC and is Level 1 Certified with the British Psychological Society. He is on the Board of the Global Citizenship charity STAND Ireland.

Organisations are increasingly facing significant internal and external pressures, necessitating a new approach to transformation where change becomes embedded rather than episodic. By embedding agility, organisations retain the benefits of the revised ways or working and are better able to handle future challenges. To achieve this, organisations must rethink their approach to transformation. We will explore what embedded agility entails, review case studies of organisations that successfully implemented it and those that had to revise their approach. We will share lessons learned from and provide practical tips for developing agility in your own organisation
