Julie de Comarmond
Born both French and Mauritian, Julie spent the first 18 years of her life in Africa. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Human Resources from CELSA in France, she started her career in San Francisco in 1998 in the Tech world, where she accompanied a start-up during 5 years of exponential growth as VP of HR. She then held Executive HR roles in France and in the US within large international corporations in various industries (LVMH, Alcan, Caterpillar, Bank of the West ….).
With strong expertise in Talent Management, Julie has spent most of her career designing and implementing innovative development programs for executives and future leaders, enabling them to fully express their potential and their unique strengths. Her obsession has always been to move managerial cultures towards more care, trust, empowerment, feedback, and collective intelligence.
Throughout all of her experiences, the red thread has been to accompany change whilst bringing the HR function to the heart of the business.
Since 2018, Julie has run Mokapav, her own coaching and consultancy company. Its goal is to support organizations to become more inclusive workplaces where everyone’s singularity is recognized and valued, where employees’ own purposes are aligned with company purposes, and where leaders act responsibly in the decisions they make as “future ancestors” of tomorrow’s world.
Her main clients are international organizations (BNPP, LVMH, SNCF, Sephora, Hennessy …) as well as companies from the Social and Solidarity Economy (Ticket for Change, WakeUpCafe, Lumia ….).
Julie also created “Dare to Pause”, a unique retreat for leaders to regenerate and activate their purpose and creativity.
