My name is Isabel Workel-Tijhuis. I am the Group Director HR at Triodos Bank. Before I made the switch to HR in 2017, I had many other types of roles within banking. From commerce to strategy and compliance. I also enjoyed working and living abroad (Spain) for 5 years. An experience that I can recommend to anyone who aspires to it. I have been working as Group Director HR at Triodos bank for 4 years. This means that I am responsible for the HR function in all countries where Triodos is active (NL, UK, BE, ES and DE). I made the step to Triodos very consciously, because I wanted to do more with sustainability. And where better to do that than at one of the most sustainable banks in the world? At Triodos, we make money work for positive change in the world and that is really anchored in our DNA, so you also notice it in your day-to-day work. I think that's very beautiful.
