Emma Furniss is Head of Learning & Talent Innovation at Philips, where she heads the global learning & development team (Philips University), talent management, leadership & organizational effectiveness, and onboarding. She joined Philips in 2015 as Head of HR Strategy, helping to craft Philips’ first focused people strategy, and has since then held various HR Business Partner roles, including Head of HR for Innovation & Strategy, before moving into her current role. Prior to Philips, Emma was a strategy consultant at Booz & Company (Strategy&) for eight years, specializing in organizational transformation. Emma has a PhD from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
