Jan Buitenweg who studied International Marketing at the Fontys Business School in Venlo, Netherlands. He also successfully defended his bachelor thesis which was helping Hassia-Redatron GmbH to improve its customer service, especially in the after-sales process. Working in many internships, Jan gained valuable experience in many aspects of Marketing. During the mini-company project at his university, he took the part of the Marketing Manager, and with his partners, they had to manage a whole company’s founding process together. After that, he went for an internship at Mattel and was active there in Licensing Marketing. Being in contact with many companies and having close relationships with many providers showed him that the area of B2B was what suits best his type of work ambiance. The same kind of work took part during his internship at Roman Klis Design as Brand Manager. Furthermore, he took a semester abroad in Puebla, Mexico and then, he made the decision to make a year-long internship in a Mexican start-up company that was focused on the transportation of goods internationally. He took part in creating the social media presence and implementing Google Ads with completely new insights from Google Analytics.

At that point, he found his passion in analyzing statistics and the digital aspect of the Marketing world. Having a nice and friendly work ambiance is one of his key factors for getting the work done in the best manner. Jan’s current employer at Kai Capital Management made him feel welcome from the beginning. He made the internship for his bachelor thesis as Social Media Manager and Marketing Consultant for the companies in the portfolio and worked as a working student. After getting his bachelor’s degree, he started working there as a Marketing Consultant for all the companies in the portfolio of the holding.
